Sydia Reyes was born in Caracas, Venezuela , and she lives and works in Chicago Illinois.
She has studied Art at the Instituto "Armando Reveron" School of Fine Arts, Venezuela. Management of Cultural Arts at Polar Foundation, Caracas Venezuela,
Scenography Theater at Teresa Carreno, Caracas Venezuela,
Cite Des Art, Artist's Studio Paris France.
The first solo exhibition start on 1991 in different galleries, then, in 1995 she had a solo exhibition at the "Sofia Imber" Museum of Contemporary Art Caracas Venezuela and since then has had numerous solo exhibitions in Venezuela, France, Egypt, Greece and the United States. 3 times in Chicago Illinois and 3 times in Miami Florida at Durban Segnini Gallery and Hardcore Art Contemporary.
