Education, Awards
PhD in creativity writing (major modern poetry) in 2007.
MA in modern literature from Kent University in the UK. In 1989
BA in English literature from Kuwait University in 1988.
Diploma in interior décor from Thomson Direct Eduction in 2004
Won her first prize for painting in an international competition organised in Kuwait in 1984
Certificate of merit from the New English School in Kuwait in 1980-1981
Certificate of merit from the First Al-Khirafi Biennale in 2004. The event is sponsored by Kuwait Society of Fine Art
Prize of painting in an exhibition marking the 44th National Day and the 14th anniversary of the Liberation Day in 2005
Artist Amir Abdel-Radi Award in the exhibition of Kuwaiti Women Artists organised by the Kuwaiti Society of Fine Arts in 2008
Certificate of merit for her participation in the panel of the National Art Exhibition in Kuwait in 1997 and 1998
Certificate of merit during poetry contest organised in the American University in Kuwait in 2006
Three prize for drama and theatre plus a certificate of merit from the Kuwait University in 1985, 1986 and 1987
First prize for ballet in the London School of Contemporary Dance in Kuwait in 1979

Exhibitions
Amin was only 10 years old when she exhibited in the Ahmed al-Adwani Gallery in Kuwait in 1997
1994 First solo show in Ghadeer Gllery in Salhia, Kuwait
1997 Solo show "Faces" in Bushahri Gallery in Salmiya in Kuwait
Solo show in Meredienne Hotel in Kuwait
1999 Solo show in Art Shop in Salhiya, Kuwait
2002 Solo show "Wind and Water" in the art gallery in Kuwait Society of Fine Arts. She exhibited more than 40 large-size paintings inspired by the Chinese idea Feng Shui
2004 First Al-Khirafi Art Biennale organised by the Kuwaiti Society of Fine Arts
2005 Exhibition marking the 44th anniversary of the National Day and the 14th anniversary of the Liberation Day
