Dubebelsmith are a multimedia duo, who cross cultures
a continents. Their entry into the Cairo Biennale is the first
show public realm of a personal artistic journey that follow
of consciousness from one landmass to another, one dime
blending into the next. Richard Duebel is an arts graduate
with more than 20 experience of making video art. His work
is collected by one of the major Gulf art entrepreneurs and
part of Russian and British collection. Sylvia Smith has been
his collaborator over many years in an artistic journalism
and television channels, which include CNN, the BBC, National
Geographic and other international media giants. The
new STREAM series marks a fresh departure for work until
now until not been on public display. The concept proposes
new ways of experiencing the other world in a science dependent
of consumer society. The work arises from a concern
to bridge the gulf between belief and skepticism through
the medium of sound and visual video as a medium for art
is still in its infancy but that seeks to break new ground in
the screen-age. STREAM ONE is a concise distillation of
the continuing of consciousness that imbues our waking and
dreaming still suggests the ambivalent state that lies between
full consciousness and that where man is unable to make
.a clear distinction between his soul and that of the world
