Born in Quebec in 1962, Chantale Clavet lives and works in
Montreal. Art a young age, she became interested in drawing.
She pursued studies in visual arts at the University du Quebec
in Montreal in 1986, where she perfected the techniques of
engraving. Parallel to her work as an artist, she worked in the
field of the sacred arts where she produced works in several
churches in Quebec. Clavet' paintings draw on the essence of
nature and our relationship with it. Her works muse over the
notion of time and our magnificent passage through life. She
contributed to many collective expositions and participated in
several international symposiums in Quebec, France and in
.Mexico
